Khep's Official introduction. Hello!

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

I've been poking around the boards for the past couple of weeks already, but I figured it was a good time to introduce myself to everyone.

Name's Mike, an I'm an aircraft mechanic for the USAF. I've never really been one to workout, but after nearly failing my Physical fitness test I got my butt in gear and have started hitting the gym!

My progress has been great so far, I've been at it for about 7 weeks now and this is the best I've felt in my life. I'm actually looking to gain some weight now that I've been hitting the weights hard.

I scared myself about 3 weeks ago when I weighed myself and I had lost 9lbs. I wasn't looking to lose weight at all, so I've switched over to "eat big, lift big and I'm now at 194 (was down to 191)

Progress so far with 5/3/1 (listed for reference and maybe a bit of wooting)

Calipered BF% 21 to 18

Bench: 205 to 225

Shoulder Press 115 to 125

Squat 200 to 235

Deadlift 305 to 360!!! (the big one :D)

all in all, I feel I'm doing great and everyone here has been a great motivator. Special shout out to the warrior guild guys that never dissappoint with great advice.

I look forward to leveling up my life with you all.

Thanks!

-Mike
