M.Leake
Ok, recovering from rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. I'm looking for something other than legs to do all the time, is this a good option? Will it cause an imbalance if I only do the left side? I'm all for full body movements but limited. Need some more experienced people to weigh in on this please. Link to comment
jdanger
Sort of.. The shoulder's roll in the DB snatch is more stabilization but you're already going to have an imbalance coming off the surgery. I'd say if you can do it pain free (it doesn't irritate the other shoulder) and you don't go crazy with it you'll be fine. So don't go bonkers but to break up your training a little sure. That said, I'm an "every day is leg day" guy anyway so.. you can't have too much of a good thing there. You can also look at doing various core progressions that don't involve the shoulder if you aren't already. The dreaded situp, some back extensions, it's all gravy. Eat. Sleep.
