greetings... new member here

good day everyone. doctorblueskies here from the philippines.

I'm 34y/o male working as an ER doctor in the metro.

I was inspired when I stumbled upon Steve Kambs lecture about living your life as a video game.

Anyway am 5'7 and a disappointing 190 lbs.

I hope to seek inspiration and support in joining these forums and hopefully meet new and interesting people who share my passions and interest.

my story

during my high school days I was a competitive taekwondo player a 1st degree blackbelt, joining national competitions and winning a few medals along the way.

all of it changed when I entered med school though. stress and a hectic schedule very detrimental to oneself.

Anyway, I want to get on track, and try to regain my former flexibility, power and speed. (how's that for an origin story?)

Now, my stamina is bad (only takes 20 kicks by me to feel winded), my splits are terrible, and I am reduced to an armchair martial artist.

My plan is to jumpstart and maintain my body to what it once was. but admittedly it is a very far journey.

I joined a kali school in my area to supplement the long range kicks of taekwondo ( and sparring with knives is very fun xP) , I also am tinkering with nunchucks. am kinda getting the hang of it now. expect viedoes from me as my skills improve...
