Martinpanduh
Did you guys hear/have those bands that supposedly increased your flexibility and strength? The ones where you won't fall down if someone shoves you whilst wearing the band. I know Power Balance is a popular brand but I think there's also the Quantum Bracelet and Phi-Ten or something, I think they all have the same intended "effect" using holograms to augment your body or whatever. Anyway, they're incredibly popular here in my country (and they cost $$$) but I've always been skeptical. Check out this Gizmodo article: http://gizmodo.com/5723577/powerbalance-admits-their-wristbands-are-a-scamI've seen my friends advertise these bands with physical demonstrations, all this time, was it just the placebo factor? Placebo or not, this article basically renders these things obsolete. I guess it's not just Steve who has had a "Gizmodo" day hahaha! Thoughts? mark
Don't waste money on a Power Balance, the Placebo Band is much cheaper!I'm glad to see this sort of thing is being shown for what it is but it's a shame that it is necessary. I would like to think people would have enough understanding of science to be able to realise this for themselves. The demonstrations are quite convincing but there are a number of videos on youtube showing how they work (eg ). Quote Link to comment

Maybe I don't know the right definition of hologram . . . Quote [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Valthir Level 1 Tiefling Assassin STR 2 | DEX 4 | STA 2 | CON 2 | WIS 3 | CHA 2 Twitter| Email Link to comment
