crimsonstain
I'm Jacob, I'm 17, and I need to lose weight. I started looking for a bodyweight workout for noobs like me, and found nerd fitness. Now i've probably already read at least 10 pages straight. I'm not obese, but I'm definitely overweight. I want to be on a rowing team in college, so I'm already working out towards that. I've starting eating less non-Paleo food, but I'm not fully there (probably stick with Steve's 80% idea). I've also started the beginner workout every other day, with interval running (or should I say walking/jogging) every other day, resting on Sunday. I also plan on being a physical therapist, and how awkward would it be to have someone healing you, who obviously wasn't healthy themselves right? Any rowers out there who have tips or anything on getting into it would be great. There's no club where I live, but I'll find one near wherever I go to college, and I'm going to start erging at my local YMCA (using proper form of course). Link to comment
CyningaDena
Welcome to the rebellion! I wish I'd had that much motivation to take charge of my own fitness at 17. You should post a log of your workouts so we can cheer you on! Good to have you on board. Wood Elf Ranger LEVEL 1, It don't mean a thing if I don't hear that ding: My Epic Quest Link to comment
crimsonstain
I'll start posting it this Monday when I start the whole program. I haven't started running yet because it's been storming every night without fail, and that's the best time for me to run. We'll really see how it goes once school starts in a week and a half.
