Templar
This week I started adding 25 burpees for time to the end of all my workouts, generally 5 minutes after the main workout. I read about a CrossFit gym that ends every class this way, and thought it would be a great test. I am hoping to get people at my CrossFit gym, CrossFit Frederick, into it (I want the competition). My first goal was to break 2 minutes, but I did that on my fifth workout (1:58). I can already feel my cycling improving, so my next target is 1:45. My ideal target is 45 seconds. I am wondering if anyone else uses a similar post workout test. Link to comment
MeaLusus
Congrats on the workout addition! I don’t currently do that at the end of my workouts, but that sounds like a great idea. I think I’m going to start incorporating that into my workouts =) Link to comment
Templar
I completely surprised myself today with 1:28. The workout beforehand was pure strength (split jerks), so I was not tired and I improved my cycling drastically. I'm still blown away with the time, also I that I split jerked 175 from rack 3 times unbroken. Link to comment
