Feel silly asking: can someone provide a step-list for how to get into the NF chats?

Apparently my interwebz skills RE: chat rooms is non-existent. Resorted to The Google, but had little luck. So now taking the easy way out and asking for a step-by-step list from someone to help the newbie chatter out.

If you look at the top there's a box that says "Chat" click on it, then give yourself a nickname, and then you're on IRC chat.
