RaeVynn
So we went on a bike ride yesterday with a couple of my work friends, both tall skinny dudes who ride FAST... like 17 -18 mph average. They were gracious, and rode a bit slower than normal to start off with, helping to challenge us to ride a bit faster than our usual 5 - 7 mph pace... We ended up sticking with them for about 10 miles, doing about 10 - 11 mph! Then, they took off to push each other for the next 20 miles ("Bye guys, have fun!").They caught up with us on the way back to the trailhead, and then at the car again. It was a good ride! Oh, and the faster one said that "we should do this again.. it was great having a slower start and warming up, and you guys are quick enough that it's fun, too"36 miles, and we feel much less thrashed than we did the last time we rode that trail.
