New and clueless

Hey friends, I'm really interested in getting in shape and slimming down a little, but I have no idea where to get started in terms of beginning. I have a pretty large chest and asthma so intense cardio is not what I'm looking for. I used to go to the gym and do 20 minutes on the elliptical and 40 minutes weight machines/ free weights, but I can't really afford a membership anymore. According to random research online I have an "Ectomorph/ mesomorph" body type... If anyone could help me out I would be eternally grateful.

Hey Cadet! Welcome to the Rebellion.

Steve's Fitness Guide might be a good solution for you. It doesn't require a gym membership. You can do everything bodyweight.
