Hello!

I've been working out on and off again while in college. Though I have been losing weight alone, I like talking to people who won't go "Oh you're into/you do x" when I bring up either my nerdy habits as I work out or connecting with a fellow gamer. So far I have lost 14 pounds (from 172 pounds to 158), and I am looking to lose 14 more and learn Karate. I am also trying to get back into running 5k's without stopping to walk like I did before injuring my knees.

I have enjoyed reading the Nerd Fitness blog for the past 3 months, so I have high hopes for the forums. It is nice to meet you.
