Another Newbie - Been Lurking for weeks

Hi - I'm new hear too and cannot figure out my way around - its just taking me a little while bear with me... My take on signing up was -up to this point -getting newletters and following on Twitter - never realized I should sign up - lol!!!

I'm turning 50 this year (yes to all of you "young-ins" I could be your mother....I quit smoking eleven months ago and I now have a job which keeps me sitting a heck of a lot....needless to say I have about 17 lbs to lose and want it done before my 50th!!! I'm very motivated.

I am assuming I should join the challenge and whilst doing this, download the beginner workout and go from there...any help you can give would be appreciated!!
