loopie
I just stumbled across this site yesterday and was excited to find the simple approach to diet and fitness.I started running 7 years ago and it's been a big part of my life. I've never been fast, but I love the fresh air and social aspects. I've completed a number of half marathons, a couple 25K trail runs and some adventure runs. One of the greatest benefits of running so much was that I could eat just about anything. I've had some health issues which meant I had to stop running long distances. I've gained 15lbs and feel sluggish. I eat well. On good days I eat mostly vegetables and fish...but I cheat. My main goal is to find a good balance that will allow me to keep moving without getting sick. I would like to strength train, but have no idea where to begin. I try to swim regularly, but have recently fallen off that wagon. I'm looking forward to trying out these workouts. Good luck everyone! Link to comment
