New man on the block

Hello internet, my name is Bryan and I am trying this nerd fitness thing out. So far I like the way everything has been presented.

I am jumpstarting my nerd fitness experience by also doing a 2 week vegan challenge. I have to admit not having cheese is more difficult than the 40 seconds of planks. My goal is to get back into a comfortable shape again. I am currently about 50 pounds from where I would like to be and I just feel terrible all the time. I think a realistic goal is to look like Adam West from the Batman days or Kirk Douglas in Spartacus.

Well thats my story, I am looking forward to this new fitness adventure!

Welcome to the boards! I've been following a "relaxed" vegan diet (I'll have dairy if I'm someone's dinner guest just because it's easier on the host, and if I ever cheat I don't feel like I've squashed baby

or something) and for reals: once you get past the ice cream/cheese cravings, you'll feel bionic. Hang in there! Taking control over your diet is always worth the trouble in the long run.
