ScottOTD
...the story so far.Grew up overweight to obese I guess, partially due to self esteem issues probably because I associated sport or exercise with the people who gave me a hard time in school (?). Developed many stereotypical bad habits like comfort and boredom eating as well as a generally unhealthy lifestyle.Fast forward to 2007, I ended I pretty awful relationship and was squeezing into XXL shirts so decided something had to change. Over the next year or so I dropped over 50 kilos and got down to a medium (I tend to judge my weight on clothes sizes rather than numbers because I find numbers kind of intimidating) which I've slooooowly crept back up from since then. Currently I'm working on dropping (at least) a few inches from my waist and increase my cardio, also I'm 33 now so I figure I really need to get into a regular exercise regime that I can not just maintain but enjoy for the long term. Looking forward to becoming part of the community (pop pop!) learn how to exercise smarter and have some fun. Link to comment
Hiraedd
Hey, Scott! I hear you about numbers being intimidating -- good for you looking for a long term solution instead of a short term one. Welcome to the rebellion!
