Alethea
Nice!! Good find! Another trick I've heard is Switch Things Up: We are efficient creatures, and automate a lot of activites so we don't have to build new neural pathways in our brain. Do something different and it forces your brain to adapt in new and different ways. Try doing things with your non-dominant hand, or non-dominant foot (as I learned with my cast, learning how to drive with your left foot is surprisingly difficult). Take a different path to work Do tasks out of your usual order Make a real effort not to use your usual catch-phrases for a day and actually THINK about what you are saying and how you say it. Try new activities, including mental or physical or both (musical instruments would count as both, for instance). Quote "Let another say. 'Perhaps the worst will not happen.' You yourself must say. 'Well, what if it does happen? Let us see who wins!' ". - Seneca, 63 AD "There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength." - Henry Rollins Link to comment
