rdwagner
Becky here. I have been hanging around Steve's blog since his Epic Quest on Gizmodo. His article introduced me to Nerd Fitness, the Rebellion, and Tim Ferriss. I've been reading his blogs since, and doing the 4 Hour Body diet for 2 months. Thanks Steve! I am a cubicle worker, mother of 3, and a lover of nerdy things. This has set me up to follow in my genetic footsteps of gaining weight. Further down that path is type 2 diabetes and morbid obesity. I am 29 and I am rather short (5'1"). Just shortly after my 29th birthday I hit my all time bad weight I said I'd never allow myself to get to (150 lbs). I knew if I went any higher, I'd never bother to lose any weight because it would be too hard. Fast forward a couple of months of better eating and minimal exercise, and I'm at 136, I feel better, and I just want to step it up a notch. I believe the hardest part for me I've accomplished by changing my diet. I am eating healthier and feeling better than ever. I've just started Tae Kwon do with my husband and older two kids as well. I figured it was time to stop lurking and join the gang around here. Quote Link to comment
Alethea
Hiya, and welcome! I haven't read 4 Hour Body yet. What does the diet entail? Congrats to you on reaching a healthier weight! And all through diet, I'm impressed. How are you liking Tae Kwon do? Quote "Let another say. 'Perhaps the worst will not happen.' You yourself must say. 'Well, what if it does happen?
