Taijibum
Are there any resources for making yourself as a GURPS character? Heck, even D&D or other games would be entertaining. We do not rise to the level of our expectations in a fight. We fall to the level of our training. Link to comment
Raincloak
There is indeed a resource for that, it's called the GURPS Basic Set. For D&D, there's d20 Modern, which I think is free open-source (google it). Some people actually do play RPGs in a contemporary setting with themselves statted up as characters. Personally, I don't think I would find that very entertaining. I already roleplay myself every day. When I'm recreating, I want to be/do/visit more exotic things. But you could have your group stat themselves up and then dump them in a RPG world of your choosing. Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future. Hylian Assassin 5'5", 143 lbs. andygates
Wow, this takes me back. We did this back at Uni, and then ran the characters through guest-DM guest-gamebook world jumping. I quickly died and replaced myself with a cartoon caveman who got cybernetics. IIRC either GURPS or D&D bases STR off your bench. Bah. Link to comment
