Yosemite hike.

Has anyone gone hiking in Yosemite recently? I am currently saving up for a fall trip. I am going alone on the hike to take photographs and basically just disconnect and be myself for a few days.

I don't plan on doing too much off trail hiking just stay on the trail and go off only to get a better angle for pictures. How much time do you think I need to set aside to explore most of the famous spots? Any lodging places there that you've had good experience with?

I'd appreciate any info on this.

P.S. did I mention I like taking pictures!
