Hello peoples!

 

It's good to be here and to finally write my introduction.  My name is Lenny and I'm a 31 year old bio-products engineering student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities (go Gophers!).  I'm here because last year I turned 30 and I said to myself "You've enjoyed food and being lazy for long enough".  Well, I spent that year getting fatter and lazier than I was at 29.  On January 23rd of this year I was at McDonald's getting my normal dinner and I noticed how many calories were in my meal and I was grossed out.  So, I started eating healthy almost immediately after that.  Over the last month I've cut out soda, sweet coffee drinks, most bread, and completely free of fast food.  I'm now eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables along with good proteins.  I want to make this type of eating a part of me for the rest of my life.  

 

Random stuff about me:

 

-I served in the Air Force. 

-Former WoW addict.

-Soon to be SimCity addict.

-NPR <3

-Buffalo, NY sports fan.

-Born in Rochester, NY.

-New to DnD.

-Lived in Belgium for a year during high school.

-Likes the cold.

-Seattle is my dream city.

-Hates bullet points.

-Loves hiking.

-Going to backpack for 4 days in Glacier National Park as a graduation present.

-1 year 3 months free of chewing tobacco.

-Aquarius.

-Long walks on the beach.

-Oh wait wrong website.
