fortysixtwo Posted February 24, 2013 Report Share Posted February 24, 2013 Hi everyone, I’m JJ and I just wanted to make a quick introduction and totell you a bit about myself. I’m a 29year old man from Scotland and currently I’m 5,11†and 247lbs. I’m starting out on the paleo diet this week and starting togo on a 30 minute walk every night as well. It basically has stemmed from an addiction to fizzy drinks where I coulddrink 2ltr a day and that’s most days. That’s now been given up and started buying all the correct food to liveand eat the correct way. I’m hoping to go down to 15 stone so that’s losing 40lbs andI really hope that I can do it. I joinedthe gym last year and was going three times a week but still was addicted tothe fizzy drinks. I’ve also recentlystopped smoking. Like many of you on here I’m a bit of a geek and my jobinvolves me sitting at a desk for 9 hours a day 5 day’s a week. I’m now unfortunately at the stage that I can’tafford to keep the gym membership up so any advice would be more than welcome. I don’t want to get down to super skinny oranything like that just try and loose the big beer/fizzy drinks belly that I’veamassed.My goals are: Give up smokingGive up fizzy drinksExercise without the gym for 30 min a dayAdopt the paleo dietLose those 40 lbs so I can feel better aboutmyself. So please any help, tips or anything at all please letme know, my body is starting to make mefeel down and it’s not a good way to be. Link to comment
Tanktimus the Encourager Posted February 25, 2013 Report Share Posted February 25, 2013 There are many ways to work out without a gym, the assassins, monks, scouts and druids especially have some good ideas on that.
