Procrastination

I meant to post an introduction when I first joined, but of course I put it off!

So, here's me!

 

I am a

, which should tell you a lot! I struggled with weight for a majority of my high-school years, and managed to lose 5 lbs through running and watching what I ate.  I played volleyball and soccer, so I wasn't terribly out of shape but was never happy with my body.  Last April, I got bacterial pneumonia and had to stay in the hospital for a week.  As a result, I lost 10 more pounds.  Unfortunately, those 10 lbs were mostly muscle.  I then became vegan, started running more, and lifting in order to gain more muscle, but I've maintained my weight at about 118 lbs for the past year.  I got addicted to lifting weights and generally working out!  I've decided to stop being vegan, but I'm not ready to go full paleo!

 

I lurked on NerdFitness for about three weeks before I joined, just in time for the current challenge.  I really want to get stronger and get some like-minded support.

 

There, now I can check this off the list!
