Hi ,

I've been reading some very intersting articles for a couple of hours now and decided to join the movement.

My physical condition is kind of "on the edge".

So, my name is Jason, i'm 40, getting fatter and fatter. Due to my job i fly around europe / eastern europe a lot, always in hotels, eating what ever they bring as most of the time i dont understand the menu.

I dont like sports, and i quit smoking after 20 years of addiction ( 1 1/2 pack / day)  some 8 months ago.

In fact it's not that i dont like sports it's just when at school i was never really good at any of them, i cannot hit a god damn ball or play basket ball as i only see with 1 eye, so i have bad notion of distances since i was 14months old, no stereo vision.

And i broke both my knees so running is off the program.

But anyway, I decided to make a change in my life, and health. I need to learn to eat properly, the Paleo looks good for me, as i like veggies, but travelling around does not make it easy to start with.

I just started this morning with Steve's 20mn hotel training...level1.

I'm also thinking of cutting out the drinking habit as well os the usual wine / cider / beer stuff with my crew and friends, usually 2/3 drinks per day, and now i realise it's quite a lot. But at home i dont drink any alcohol at all, my GF is very yoga style and she is my complete oposite, small very thin with abs.........and i wish i could improve by following the methods found here.

I'm a metric guys, so my weight is 95kg, height of 1.76m and it gives me a very scary BMI.

hi jason! another one-eyed looker! i just had to say hi - i've never met anyone with the same affliction as me (or at least known they had the same affliction). my parents had me in baseball for four years when i was in elementary school, wondering why i still couldnt catch a ball, until my specialist clued us in. so i completely get the sports thing.

and congrats on quitting smoking! i'm a fellow quitter as well...sometimes i cant believe i ever smoked.

you'll do great! welcome to the rebellion!

I'm also a one eyer, if that's even a word. Everything in my left eye is a blur. Great work so far on quitting smoking. Good luck with everything.
