Raincloak Posted March 11, 2011 Report Share Posted March 11, 2011 I managed one standard pushup today, hands and feet flat on the floor, in spite of a workout feeling generally crappy and weak. That may not sound like much, but for someone who does most of her pushups with hands on a bench, it's progress. Also, my car hit 198,000 miles today. JaysFreaky Posted March 11, 2011 Report Share Posted March 11, 2011 Congrats! It may not feel like much now, but you're only building your strength until you can do more. I couldn't do pull-ups for the longest time, so I started out doing negative pull-ups to build my strength up until I could do an actual pull-up and went from there. Stick with it, you can do it! I was like "I know lots of other people can do this, but this exercise was MINE!" It's a good feeling. Keep it up.
