freefit guy Posted March 11, 2011 Report Share Posted March 11, 2011 Hi everybody. You might have heard about the massive earthquake(s) that struck off the coast of northern Japan. Many of you were kind enough to remember I'm currently living in Japan and message me. Luckily, I'm OK. The earthquakes struck pretty far to the north of me. They have evacuated the coastal areas in case of tsunamis, but overall the situation here (Kochi Prefecture) seems to be under control. Thanks so much for thinking of me. It's amazing that I've only been here a week and already feel like family. Ok, gonna go now before I get too choked up. Thoughts and prayers to all those effected by the tsunami. Be careful, though -- aftershocks for a quake of this magnitude can continue for several months and the shocks still wracking Japan can still cause damage to public infrastructure.
