Plex
So I went out tonight at a bar.Sat down at a table. Looked a menu. And like every paleo dieter out there, thought 'Craaaaaaaaaap.'So, instead of drinking, I had black coffee.Instead of eating something horribly off diet, I found the one thing most likely to be paleo.Sweet potato fries cooked in olive oil.Extremely close, as I know mostly, sweet potato doesn't count as strict paleo, but you know what, I feel that it was extremely close.CRISIS EFFIN' AVERTED.DIET WIN. Gowaduv
Robb Wolf eats sweetpotatoes like they're going out of style- you're good to go brohamowitz! Good work on the willpower front. Plex
Ha! You keep it up too! I found after 3 cups of black coffee I felt giddy and talky and kind of the way I do when I drink, so its a good during-the-week substitute. And by the way, give your Trainer a calculator. Brometheus
I eat sweet potatoes too! No, not paleo, but they are on the approved list that goes with Robb Wolf's book (depending on your diet needs -- burn a lot of glycogen during workouts, eat sweet potatoes!) Perhaps the trainer needs a math book first to understand how to use a calculator? Quote Link to comment
CokeCanNinja
Way to go. Coffee is better for you then alcohol to be sure. Quote Nerd? We prefer the term INTELLECTUAL BADASS!!! Link to comment
Anivair
I'd say sweet potatoes are plenty paleo for me. There seems to b debate in the paleo community, but as Robb Wolf says, if you get into "is X paleo, is X not paleo" then it becomes like kosher law. The better question is "what does X do to my body, and is that healthy?" Quote Level 3 Human Ranger STR: 9 DEX: 5.25 STA: 14.5 CON: 5.5 WIS: 16 CHA: 5.5 My Current Challenge Link to comment

Plex
I love coffee to even consider about whether or not its paleo. It's just coffee. It's on the diet no matter what. @anivair: True, but since my mind naturally gears toward rules, it helps by thinking of it that way for me, to keep me on the straight and narrow Quote "She turned me into a newt!" Altair
I was just thinking of all the caffiene. That would easily keep me up until 6 in the morning. Quote Link to comment
