Melanie
Alright, this is a partial achievement as well as a 'WTF rant' - you have been warned Yesterday morning before work I managed to do all of this within 3h 45min.:Got up late - 10amHad breakfastPrepared lunch for later onCleaned kitchen, bathroom and WC as well as hoovered the entire flatDid my amended workout while simultaneously cooking lunch (that's where a steamer comes in handy!)Taking a shower afterwardsEat lunchGet ready for work I was so proud I still managed to do my workout properly and when I woke up today (or rather while I was still asleep - I incorporated thefeeling into my dream xD) I noticed that my muscles were sore all over the place (especially true for my quadriceps, my calvesand the biceps/shoulder parts). Why does this make me happy? Because it means that I gave my body enough stimuli in order to be worn out, i. e. I broke down somemuscle tissue which is now repairing itself and I'll end up even fitter and stronger than before (I can already see some major changesregarding my leg and arm muscle toning (imagine what it will look like after three to four months!!). Today's success: I found organic free range eggs at the shop around the corner (which I couldn't even find at the big retail store where I usually go to -at least they didn't label them as 'organic'). Plus, I bought some 'decent' butter *rant starts here* (i. e. not organic, but better thanthe artificial crap I was eating before - boy, I had NO idea what I was doing to my body). I thought it was healthy, because it's made ofolive oil *massive face palm*. Take a look at the ingredients and see the horror: Water, Bertolli Olive Oil composed of Refined Olive Oils andVirgin Olive Oils, Vegetable Oil, Vegetable Fats, Modified TapiocaStarch, Salt (1%), Buttermilk, Emulsifiers (Mono and Diglycerides ofFatty Acids, Sunflower Lecithin), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate),Citric Acid, Flavouring, Vitamins A & D, Colour (Beta-Carotene). Refined: never read anything decent about refined foods- deprived of any nutrition that 'might' have beenpresent before Vegetable Oil:my last vegetable oil turned out to be made of GM soy...and they don't exactly specify which kind of vegetable oil they'reusing in here either, do they?! Modified (bla bla bla) Starch:modified = bad, starch = even more bad... Salt: every salt except for sea salt is utter crap! (read up on the differentkinds of salt if you don't believe me - I would love to point you to mysource, but I'm afraid it's in German). Emulsifiers/Fatty Acids:is a mixture of animal and vegetable fats... origin: who knows...who cares anyway? (umm, me...!? :S) Lecithin: almost nearly made of sunflower, soy or rapeseed oil - and we'reback with the vegetable oils... Potassium Sorbate (preservative): can cause allergies in rare cases as well as skin and mucomembranousirritation in sensitive people - but otherwise completely harmless as itcan be 100% broken down by the body... (I actually looked that up! -in German, but Google translate should do the trick ). Flavouring: I thought there was the goodness of olives in there, so why the heck doI need flavouring? And what kind of flavouring are we bloody hell talkingabout? Hm? HMMM?! Vitamins A&D: I always get verysuspicious if somebody has to ADD vitamins... you want to sell yourproduct as part of a more healthy lifestyle or what? Colour:meaning that your product would otherwise look so disgusting that Iwouldn't go anywhere near it? Or is it supposed to make the margarinelook 'more healthy' yet again? *rant finished* So, yeah, the only reason I actually bought butter (probably full of hormones too as it's non-organic -.-) was because I'm still eating breadat the moment as I need some time for the full transition to organic meat (which I will have to order online and they only deliver on certaindays of the week). But that would make no sense right now as I will be off to Germany tomorrow for a couple of days. Afterwards - or I caneven do it while I'm in Germany - I will order my stuff and ban bread from my life (which is not too hard in England with all that flabby stuffwhich they call bread - before anybody is offended: have a go at real bread first, then we can talk ). But yeah, all in all, I'm making progress ^^ Link to comment
