New NF member

Hello, names Shayla, new to the site love what I've read so far. Everything is extremely motivational. Excited for the new changes I've decided to make. Recently I have started adding weight lifting to my routine have also tried to change my diet up following a more paleo diet. If anyone has meal suggestions I'd love to hear them!

My standby's include:

 

Protein:

eggs - scrambled, or made into "muffins" with sausage, veggies, bacon, whatever. Look at the recipe board for the egg monster - that's the general idea

chicken - I'm bad and get rotisserie chickens a lot, and then use the meat in whatever (chicken salad - light on mayo with a little curry powder thrown in; soup with lots of veggies, etc)

salmon - I get the frozen wild caught from Costco

chocolate protein shakes (also from Costco) - yes, processed - but convenient and tasty!

venison (husband is a hunter)

ground beef - spaghetti (over spaghetti squash), taco salads, burgers, etc

fajitas (ditch the tortilla)

pork tenderloin marinated and grilled

 

Veggies - any / all. I prefer them roasted in the oven or grilled. 

 

Snacks

baby carrots with a little bit of brie

marcona almonds

sugar snap peas

 

I'll eat pretty much anything for breakfast, so that's usually leftovers for me! Saves me from eating eggs every day.
