I Can't Blame Delhi Belly This Time!

I've been on crutches for a couple of weeks and had decided not to try to lose weight until my legs are healed so, whilst I still weigh in regularly to keep my data collation up to date, I wasn't expecting to see any losses.

Don't get me wrong, I don't focus solely on the scale and my long-term targets are largely fitness based rather than weight-loss based, but I stepped on the scale this morning and saw a weight I have only ever seen once in my adult life.

I was at the end of a three and a half week stay in Northern India and had had two debilitating bouts of Delhi Belly. On the last day, I treated myself to a day in a 5* spa and, largely out of curiosity, stepped on the scale and saw 70.4kg. It only appeared that once and only because I was ill, but it was there.

Today, I saw that number again. I tried again and, admittedly, it went up to 70.5kg, but that's beside the point. So I did it again and again and it doesn't seem to be a mistake...

SQUEEE!

Now I just need to get my legs better!
