guinnesshero
ok a friend of mines wife woks out at the same gym as me. She used to be over weight and lost it with diet and exersise. She does all the cardio classes. yesterday she contacted me asking if I could help her tone up her upper body and I said sure. Im guessing she wants to get rid of the flab around her arms. Problem is im not sure the best exersises to get it done for her. If she was looking to bulk up I could help her out lol. Any suggestions? Link to comment
I-Jo
doing weight work will help- lots of pull up/push up lat pulls/rows and tricep stuff will all help her arms. would also tread lightly working with a friends wife- that sounds like it could get tricky. Link to comment
bigm141414
My standard response to such inquiries is: " I don't know how to make you toned, I can only make you stronger." Bench, OHP, pull up work (rows, negatives, etc), dips, Also, get her to try squatting because the squat is the king of all exercises. I-Jo
lol great response- I get annoyed when people say the "t" word. i understand what they mean- but it still irks me LOL I have had people come to me and ask for help loosing X fat - and I say I can't do that for you. They just look at me with a blank stair- I'm like you know that this weight business is 80% diet and 20% exercise right? LOL it's an amusing conversation. Arnolds. forgot- arnolds- my all time favorite upper body lift. Link to comment
