spatzcat
A good article:http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterbregman/2013/03/30/how-to-use-temptation-to-strengthen-your-willpower/ Next time you feel tempted by something, take a moment to feel the pleasure of that tension. Don’t think of it as temptation; feel it as anticipation.Indulge yourself fully — think about what you want and feel the emotions of wanting it. Then realize that as soon as you give in to the temptation, as soon as you release the tension, all the pleasure will be gone. Never let your fear decide your fate. Link to comment

spatzcat
lmao. i think for alot of people the addiction to food is the same as 'extracurricular activities'. hahaha. i'd go for the latter there though, effects are lasting, while the joy from chocolate and fried chicken is fleeting. Never let your fear decide your fate. Link to comment
