massagelady53 Posted April 4, 2013 Report Share Posted April 4, 2013 Hi all you Rebels!I have been viewing the NF site for a few weeks now and LOVE it. I am not really a gamer but I get the "leveling up life" concept. In fact I feel it is our responsibility to get ourselves in the best shape we can,(physically, emotionally, and spiritually) in order to affect the biggest changes to our world. I started my weight-loss journey a few years back have lost 30# and need to get rid of about 10 more, but I don't really care about the numbers. I just want to look and feel great! I love the strength training philosophy! I have always secretly wanted to be strong, you know strong enough to show off some, maybe beat a couple guys at push ups or something. I am not great at setting goals like drop 10# by....I do however love to set goals like, last time I did this work out in 30 mins, today 25! Or last time 10 push-ups this time 12. I am my own biggest competition. Having said that I can also talk myself out of a work out very easily! I find this site motivates me more than anything else I have tried in the past. So thank you! It's a good way to be accountable for your goals. If other people are counting on you to workout it's harder to skip it. Running goal - Dopey Challenge 2015Training to complete an Ironman by 2017.
