CokeCanNinja
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24-hour_runIt's when you run for 24 hours and try to see how far you can get. The record is 188.6 miles, which is running at an average of 7.8 mph!!! Anyone here wanna try this? Quote Nerd? We prefer the term INTELLECTUAL BADASS!!! Link to comment
Raincloak
Not me ... doing the same loop 50 times in one day sounds boring, and the sleep deprivation would probably cause me to trip over something and injure myself. But if you want to, go for it and have fun, as long as you've got support people with blankets and hot tea who know where you are at all times. CokeCanNinja
I may try this after I conquer an Ironman in a few years. Quote Nerd? We prefer the term INTELLECTUAL BADASS!!! Link to comment
1fever
I may try this after I conquer an Ironman in a few years. We were rucking the lava desert which is the stretch of road that the bike portion of the Ironman was being held at on the Big Island of Hawaii near our training base and we came up on the bike to run transition point...The competitors were thanking us as they ran by...it was pretty cool. But the Ironman cuts off at 17 hours...24 hours sounds just nasty especially if its all running, I would hate to see your knees. There is cool scenery through the Ironman though. It's like going from paradise to the moon. Quote Link to comment
