Teros
I've been looking for roughly 4 hours and I can't figure out how to fix this. If anyone has ideas then please let me know. I want to play diablo ONE and original starcraft on my sweet gaming station I have set up (a 36 inch tv hooked up to a pc, a wii, a 360, a ps2, an original xbox- with nes/sega/supernes/n64 emulators). My problem is this. When I start up diablo 1 or starcraft the resoltuion bugs out. The top 1/3 of the screen is chopped off and there is a giant black bar on the bottom. It's like the whole picture has been shifted up 1/3 up. Are there any ideas? I've tried putting it into windowed mode- it doesnt WORK! -w or -window on the .exe I've also tried fiddling with my nvidia controls and nothing makes an impact. The tv is currently set to 800x600 and all my other games are working fine. However diablo 1 and starcraft were back in the old days of 640x480. Any help would be appreciated fellow nerds. notanartmajor
Have you tried using Compatibility Mode and setting it to Windows 95/98? There should also be an option to run it in a fixed resolution that sometimes helps. Link to comment
