TheSchneiders
Hey fellow nerds! My husband and I have been wading through the massive pools of info on here for the last few days and we are really excited to become part of this movement. We're both way too overweight and we are ready to get out there and level up our lives by getting fit. We tried the beginner body weight work out two days ago and it was rough, but we're going to stick to it! I don't think that we're going to go full paleo, but we are definitely going to scale back the amount of grains and dairy in our diet because the science seems to make sense to us. Quick question: As I was reading through the info on the paleo diet I was wondering what the lack of dairy does as far as calcium in the body? Can one get enough from other foods? Should someone with a family history of osteoporosis take a calcium supplement for that? Just curious to get your input! excited to get started! -Alexis Getting fit. Already fabulous. Link to comment
