Newbie here saying hello

Hello!

Been following the Nerd Fitness blog for ages and finally made the leap and joined the board ( and 6week challenge - find me on Rangers)

I've tried my hand at rowing, running, crossfit, lifting and triathlon among other thing. But have come back to my first fitness love which is lifting and indoor rowing. Now training primarily to compete at indoor rowing. I have surprised myself in that at school I was probably the least likely to interested in sport or fitness of anybody. Now am qualified as a personal trainer and trying to build my own business in fitness and nutrition

My other loves include Star Trek, David Eddings, Lord of the Rings (I have had two single scull boats called Anduin and Elanor - both now gone to other homes sadly ), warhammer, Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones and red wine ( though I am giving up alcohol for the 6 week challenge - it's gonna be tough).
