HIIT Suggestions

I've recently introduce an HIIT routine to my workout schedule.  I'm hoping to trim some fat and tone up my muscle.  I've been lifting weights for a little less than a year now, with great success.  I also jog 2 miles in the mornings every other day.

 

Any suggestions for an HIIT beginner?  Right now I've simply been doing a circuit Jump Rope, Push Presses (75lbs) and Kettlebell Swings (25lbs)... AMRAP in 30 minutes.

pick 4 exercises

 

set your interval timer (Down load an app)  10 rest 50 work

 

repeat 3 times

 

12 minutes of HIIT

 

there you go... have at it.  :D

 

HIIT isn't a specific workout- it's just a WAY to workout- you can do it with ANY excercise- lift or cardio.   Pick your poison and run with it.
