girlsgunsgold Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 Hi everyone. I've been reading NF for a long time but just signing up today. I knew that I was out of shape, not exercising enough, squeezing into my clothes...but last week I weighed myself and finally realized that I have gained 50 (!!!!!!) pounds in the last 5 years. Not healthy! That was my push to join the Rebellion for real. I'm not a newbie to working out - I already do body weight and free weight exercises instead of machines, and usually try to incorporate circuit and interval training into my workouts (when I do them). I'm trying to teach myself to be a runner, but that's not going as well, I've been doing a Couch-to-5K program for about 4 months now... My long term goal is to lose those 50 pounds. I don't have a deadline for it - I just want to work hard, be fit, enjoy the journey, and get there when I get there. My short term goal is to be able to do the beginner body weight workout 3 times a week. Looking forward to being a part of the NF community!! Link to comment
