Maledictus Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 Sounds like an odd sort of woot, but she had a stroke a couple of weeks ago.While recovering one side is pretty much shot to start with, so she learned how to do one armed pull ups. Yeah, I know some f*cking awesome people My woot is much more low key. After working out for over a year now, I finally have a dose of the DOMs. I can also push myself until I melt in a puddle of sweat, which I take as a good sign, bizarrely. I had some crappy new headphones on that were nowhere near loud enough and as I started a 32.5 KG dumbbell (so it looked ridiculously outsize but wasn't all that heavy) goblet squat I heard two guys behind me. One wanted to stop me from lifting that much because I was an old guy and the other told him to leave it because I obviously knew what I was doing. The first one walked off muttered "old bast*rd can do more than me".. made my day, I'm a petty, petty man.
