I've been trying to get fit for 15 years now, but I think I finally have the combination to do it! Between kids (some having had special needs), financial issues, work issues, and other issues, I was never able to keep up with anything. However, now I have my kids enrolled in Taekwondo, and I enrolled too! In addition, I bought a heavy bag for the garage, and am doing workouts on days we don't have class. Anyway, having the heavy bag at the house and taking class *with* the kids has pretty much solved most of my access problems for exercise. The heavy bag is pretty contained and doesn't take up much space in the garage. I've been working at it for about two or three months now. I don't have any weight loss yet, but I certainly have improved muscles. I also have eating problems, so we'll see where that lands me (though it is much better than it used to be - I used to have several scoops of ice cream for desert every night!) Anyway, I'm glad to be here and share my progress with you all! Thanks to everyone involved! Don't worry too much about your absolute weight- as I like to say, unless you are getting picked up for your job (e.g. doubles figure-skater) then it's not that important.
