keliswicked
Today for the first time I went to the weight room at my gym! I've been too intimidated to in the past few weeks, but my boyfriend offered to go with me this morning! I used the weighted bars to do overhead presses and then went to the squat rack. I've been doing 65lb with dumbbells, but I was able to do 3x5 at 85lb without too much strain!!! I feel like such a badass =) Quote Keliswicked, level 6 half Hobbit/ half Dwarf Druid Progress Log || Fitocracy! || 2 3 4 5 6 Link to comment
El Exorcisto
Well done... Ignore the muscle heads and start moving some weight. If you are moving up to barbell squats you should start with an empty bar and work up progressively. Rippetoe still warms up with an empty bar.
