Joined today.  In the past year, I have lost 15 pounds and started cardio consistently with some light dumbbell arm work.  Up to now, my focus has been on a slow start to go from couch potato to entry level fitness.  I dropped the weight I gained while attending school full time on top of a more than full time job.  I am in a normal BMI range now, though at the high end...

I have been looking around for a starting spot for weight lifting, and Nerd Fitness seems to fit the bill.  I completed the Beginner body weight workout today for the first time.  I plan to trial that three days a week for at least eight weeks and then go from there.

My future goals are to get more functionally fit, I do not yet have specific goals in mind beyond finishing a strong trail of the NF beginner workout.

The beautiful thing about living in Florida is we can go out side at around noon and sweat off about 5 or 6 lbs
