MissyMo87
So my fiance is looking for an apartment close to Denver, but is having no luck. Is there anybody on here that can recommend a place? Price needs to be low and pets need to be allowed. Quote Jigglypuff Adventurer STR: 3.25 DEX: 3 STA: 3.5 CON: 3.75 WIS: 6 CHA: 4 Previous Challenges: 1, 2 Link to comment
ginj
The cheapest places in Denver are going to be out in Aurora or Littleton, though they aren't considered the nicest places. Most of the apartments in Denver run in the $1k range, and you shouldn't have an issue finding a place that allows pets, as long as you're willing to pay. MissyMo87
Ya I noticed that while I've been helping him look. We found a few places but now finding one that allows dogs is taking a while. Thank you for the suggestion! Quote Jigglypuff Adventurer STR: 3.25 DEX: 3 STA: 3.5 CON: 3.75 WIS: 6 CHA: 4 Previous Challenges: 1, 2 Link to comment
girljen
I second Aurora and Littleton if he'd like to be south of Denver. Westminster, Northglenn, and Thornton are good if he'd like to be north of Denver. The further west you look, the more expensive the places will be (as a general rule, any address higher than 7600 W. is too damn expensive, so avoid Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Golden, and anywhere in Boulder County). Check craigslist for single-family homes for rent, too. Houses owned by an individual who needs money are much more likely to allow pets than apartments owned by a leasing corporation.
