I just ran my best time ever

Recommended Posts

This is my first post here on NF though I've been getting some major inspiration from this site over the last month.

I finally got off the couch and started running again (for the first time in 2 years) this Spring.

I was excrutiatingly slow - like 14 or 15 minute/mile. I used to be closer to a 10 minute mile.

I've been reading a lot about form and also doing more biking and yoga.

Just this past Friday I went out and was surprised that my legs felt pretty good.

When I returnedh home my pedometer showed that I ran 2 miles in 16 minutes - WHAT?!?!?!

This is unheard of speed for me and I wasn't even trying to push my pace at all.

I don't know what happened but I couldn't be more stoked.

Now I just have to get my endurance back up.

Thanks for this great place to post these milestones!!

Congratulations.  I wish I could keep that pace up for more than a minute.

Not sure if it was buzz or woody that said it though.
