Decided to stop creeping

Hello Rebels,

 

My name is James. I've been reading Steve's blog for a long time now but this is my first post here.

 

I'm not new to fitness but I haven't been working out for a while now. I decided to get back into it. I started the Stronglifts 5x5 yesterday. I decided to start out exactly how it said and I must admit I felt a little silly squatting just the bar. It is what it is though. I suppose soon enough I will have real wait on it.

 

Is there anyone else here that has started it from the very beginning?

Welcome BreadMage (is this how you magically make a living?  :playful:

I started even less than that. I was squatting with a broom handle first because I kept losing my form, then I went to a standard bar of 15# and now I'm up to 65#. So, start wherever and up! Enjoy. Glad you hopped on!
