I'm not new to fitness but I haven't been working out for a while now. I decided to get back into it. I started the Stronglifts 5x5 yesterday. I decided to start out exactly how it said and I must admit I felt a little silly squatting just the bar. It is what it is though. I suppose soon enough I will have real wait on it. I was squatting with a broom handle first because I kept losing my form, then I went to a standard bar of 15# and now I'm up to 65#. So, start wherever and up! Enjoy. Glad you hopped on!
