tsuchinoko92
I practice it whenever i am on the streets if there isn't any worthwhile food. I drink water if i get hungry yet, stomach acid can build up this way. So, would it be a good idea to carry pocket sized rations like raisins? Dantes
Just to clear up a couple misconceptions here: IF is not typical fasting. You are fasting for a purpose to make your body handle nutrients more efficient following a workout. You don't fast for excessive periods of time You don't eat a tiny amount of calories You eat normally, you just change the timings around. But when you eat is based around your workouts. The original protocols call for BCAA shakes (2x5g) There are other protocols that are less extreme that have meals etc before workouts. However, the gist of it is you fast for a minimum of 16 hours. Have some small meals, and then you workout and have the largest meal of the day immediately following the workout. Rinse and repeat. You shouldn't need to worry about stomach acid fasting as all your essentially doing is having a lazy morning (eating wise) while you actually go and do things (activity wise) Does this answer your question?
