Greetings, Fellow Nerds.

 

I am just another tall, overweight nerd trying to shed some pounds and get healthy.  I am 6'6" and looking to drop about 80 pounds.  I am always looking for creative ways to motivate myself, and discovered NerdFitness from a link on the http://artofmanliness.com blog.

 

My nerdly pursuits include reading, computers, miniature painting & wargaming.  I love the works of Tolkien & C.S. Lewis, et al. I am also a fan of Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly and many others.

 

I am still trying to figure out the lay of the land on this blog/forum, so patience is appreciated.  I look forward to interacting with you all.
