Thebiglou
Hi. My name is Big Lou and I'm looking to loose some weight. I am not the average fat guy tho. I have been weight lifting for about 10 years so working out is not new to me. My problem is I am usually anywhere from 280lbs to 300lbs. Anytime I step on the scale this is where I'm at. I have been trying very hard to loose weight for some time now and would like some help. I figure its gotta be my diet. Heres where i am right now: I lift weights for 1-2 hours almost everyday. I can eat high calorie or low calorie and remain about the same weight. I need to loose about 50lbs. My issue is not just "get off the couch and get moving". I'm always moving and love the gym. Duality
Check my signature. The base of weight loss is 20% exercise and 80% diet. But you have to do both fully to lose weight. What does your usual daily diet look like? Could you list what you eat usually? Quote It's not 80% diet, 20% exercise, it's 100% diet, 100% exercise. Give it your all. Thebiglou
I've been eating like this for about 2 weeks. Staying at 290. I'm 6'1 btw if this helps any. Breakfast: 6 eggs and cup of oatmeal or tomatoes Pre workout: 1chicken breast, 1cup of rice, 1/2 plate of vegetables Post workout: same as breakfast. Dinner: same as pre workout If I am hungry in between I will have 40g of whey protein mixed in water. Quote Link to comment
Duality
Keep the same workout plan as you seem to know where you're going with that already. Diet wise, it seems alright also, BUT, my question is, are you eating the same things everyday, the whole 7 days. Be honest. Also, just for clarification, what time is your breakfast and your dinner? And what do you drink with/between your meals? Quote It's not 80% diet, 20% exercise, it's 100% diet, 100% exercise. Give it your all. Thebiglou
Haha. No not 7 days a week but close to it. Breakfast is within 30 minutes of waking and dinner is 3 hours after previous meal. -at least 3 hours before bed. I only drink water. Quote Link to comment
