c3_psycho
When I stepped on the scale this past Sunday morning, I was at 270. When I stepped on today, 260! I've been losing weight all year, but I refocused three weeks ago and started working out 4-5 days a week for 1-2 hours at a time, and I've kept my calories in between 1500-1800. My first week, I dropped 8 pounds. My second was disheartening because I broke even, but I stuck with my plan and dropped 10 pounds all this week! The best part is that I'm now 19 pounds away from losing 100 on the year! For the first time probably ever I'm actually looking forward to stepping on the scale next Friday....woot! notanartmajor
Congratulations on your progress this year! Be advised though, this level of progress won't continue forever. Massive drops like that are usually attributed to water weight, and it'll level off after a few weeks. So, even though your results will slow down, know that it WILL keep working! Good luck! kruser
Notanartmajor is right, some of it is water - but not ALL! Congratulations, keep up the hard work and the pounds will continue to fall off! Quote KruserFleet Footed Wood ElfSCOUTSTR 2 | DEX 3 | STA 5 | CON 3 | WIS 2 | CHA 0 Link to comment
c3_psycho
Thanks guys. Yeah, my first thought was "Okay, this probably falls under that 'results not typical' category." So I'm by no means expecting to lose 10 every week, but I couldn't be happier with the start of it. Quote "You've been down there, Neo. You already know that road. You know exactly where it ends. c3_psycho
Thanks WarriorPrincess! Progress has leveled off a bit this week. I dropped 2 lbs a day for about 7 days before it slowed down, but that's to be expected. I'm just gonna keep plugging away and see what happens! Quote "You've been down there, Neo.
