Skinny Pants

You know that feeling when you pull on your never-worn-before "skinny" pants and you know about half way up it's not going to go well?

 

Or that feeling when you begin to button or zip that you're stressing the clothing more than it's designed to be stressed, and even if you can get the ends to meet, its not like you'll be able to sit down?

 

Or that feeling when you finally do fasten things up and you're spilling over the top in an embarassing magnification of your love handles?

 

You know that feeling?

This morning I didn't feel that way.

And I need a new set of skinny pants, cuz the pants I'm wearin' aint them anymore. Woot!

Yeah, I should've been more clear.    These pants are not skinny in the fashion sense.  Hell, they're chinos from LL Bean.

These are my "When I'm skinny I'll be able to wear those pants" skinny pants. 

I too am a man who squats... repeatedly... with heaving things on my shoulders.  LOL.
