Maledictus Posted September 12, 2013 Report Share Posted September 12, 2013 I went for my first 5k run in about 6 months this week and found myself having to continually slow down because I felt like puking. I thought this meant bad things for my time but I actually came in 6 minutes under my previous best. (38>32 for a 5.3km run). Later in the week I went lifting and did 4x 100kg back squat and had to rack it because I got light headed and had pretty sparkles flashing in my eyes. I appreciate neither of those numbers is much to brag about but after a year or two of solid effort I'm finally getting to the point where I can push myself while exercising and have bad things happen. I'm not exactly sure why I think this is a good thing but I do.
